In this fixed-term contract role, you will play a key role in supporting our Finance Manager (Enterprise Transformation) across a variety of initiatives and process improvement. You'll be responsible for providing planning and forecasting reports for the management team to support AAI's targets and objectives.

What you will be doing?
Partnering with the Executive Management Team, operational and support units as required to understand and reflect the trends identified in the business.
Providing backup to the Finance Manager - Transformation as required.
Partner with Project Managers to review forecasts, assist with accruals, invoicing and coding queries.
Monthly variance analysis.
Document finance processes.
Assist with Board and Steering Committee reporting.
Assist with Quarterly planning and reforecasting.
FTE recharges.
Maintaining financial models to enable reporting and forecasting.
To Shine In The Role:
Minimum 5+ years' finance experience, including experience within a similar role, preferably in the Insurance industry or similar.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
Proven ability to identify opportunities and improvements, with experience in implementing process improvement.
Advanced Excel skills.
Clear communication skills with a focus on commercial outcomes.
Strong financial reporting, modelling and analysis skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Problem solving attitude and true team player - a 'can do' attitude is key.
Ability to understand and operate accounting systems.
Solid understanding of accounting practices and standards.
