UCG works closely with network operators to optimise the performance of their existing and planned infrastructure and to ensure that deployments are delivered fit for purpose and future proofed.Ko ta matou mahi - About the roleWe have a great opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team in Auckland.
This full-time role, reporting to the Head of Finance, involves reporting and analysing revenues and costs across UCG's various programs.
Your work will play a key role in maximising profitability.
If you excel in finance and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this Finance Business Partner position is ideal for you.Ko to mahi – What you will doProvide timely and accurate financial information.Reconcile Work In Progress on a monthly basis.Analyze financial needs across various company programs, including 'Build', 'Provisioning', and 'Incident'.Collaborate with finance leaders to develop and maintain trading measurement systems and processes.Support management by analyzing financial data to understand profit drivers and suggest improvements.Monitor weekly cashflow and update forecasts.Assist in presenting financial results to the leadership team and Board.Aid in the preparation of the annual budget and audit management.Implement control systems to ensure programs stay within budget.Work with the Business Intelligence team to maintain accurate financial reporting and dashboards for decision-making.Participate in special projects and provide input for tenders and bids.Assist other finance team members and handle additional tasks as needed.Na tou rourou - What you will bringA Degree in AccountingCertified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and membership.Sufficient years of progressive financial and accounting experience in a major company.Effectively communicate assertively in both one-on-one and group settings, ensuring participants clearly understand their requirements.Advanced skills in Microsoft ExcelStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.We are a passionate, diverse and inclusive team where to 'Empower By Creating Better Connections' is our stated purpose.
