Short DescriptionThe Business Controller is accountable for managing, controlling and continuously improving financial performance of a business organisation.
Also responsible for financial planning and analysis as well as identifying and monitoring risks and opportunities.
Ensures compliance of the related activities with Nokia's accounting principles, internal controls policies, and reporting procedures as well as with external rules and regulations.Family DescriptionFinance (FI) comprises all finance and control activities, external and internal reporting, and capital allocation processes.
Provides services in the area of financial planning, accounting, controlling, reporting, performance management, tax, investor relations, treasury, and mergers and acquisitions.Subfamily DescriptionCustomer & Project Controlling (CPC) comprises the strategic business controlling to drive market / customer / project financial performance.
Covers provision of decision support to sales and project teams including customer business case support and analysis.
Contains financial planning, reporting, and analysis for customer / project organisation.
*Responsibilities:Drives business performance and provides decision support to business leaders.Responsible for financial planning, reporting and analysis for their respective business organisation.Identifies and monitors risks, exposures and opportunities and ensures action and follow up.Works systematically to reduce the working capital needs.Ensures compliance with Nokia accounting principles, internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) policies, procedures and reporting.
Maintains productive relationships with internal / external stakeholders and authorities.Acts as a professional advisor and mentor for staff / work team / taskforces.May lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements or small teams, handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.ImpactImpact is short-term and usually departmental/project in scope.
Accountable for quality, accuracy and efficiency of own and/or team achievements.
Actions and errors can have program, project, functional impact.Scope & ContributionIndividual Contributor: Performs and/or coordinates day-to-day activities to meet departmental/project objectives.

Has cross-cultural knowledge and global mindsetKnowledge & ExperienceAdvanced financial, commercial and analytical skills5+ years relevant experience with graduate equivalent (or higher) degree in accounting or related discipline.
CA qualification, or working towards CA qualification, strongly preferred.Background in the telecommunications, or related, industry.Experience working in a large multi-national or other matrix organisation, collaborating with resources in off-shore hubs and presenting to overseas management will be viewed favourably.Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP systems.Digital savvy, conversant with use of Power BI dashboards and able to identify opportunities for process improvement via automation.Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:Work from homeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to Friday#J-18808-Ljbffr
