Finance Assistant

Totally Vets Group is a group of dynamic veterinary practices, providing services and products in the Manawatu, Tararua, Taumarunui, Levin and Horowhenua areas for companion animals, equine, and production animals.We are looking for a Finance Assistant that can hit the ground running. This role is based in our Feilding clinicworking with our well-established finance team to ensure the smooth operation of our finance and payroll functions. As the Finance Assistant, you will play a key role within our finance team.Key responsibilities will include:Supporting the Accounts Receivable/Payable functions.Assisting with month end duties.Daily receipting and processing of bank deposits.Manage accruals and pre-payments.Process client and supplier rebates.Support Payroll – IMS payroll.The role will ideally suit an individual with 3-5 years' experience who enjoys a high level of responsibility and is a team player.Skilled in using Excel.Good reconciliation skills.Accounts Receivable/Payable experience.High attention to detail and accuracy.Highly organised, ability to prioritise.A good knowledge of and experience using enterprise finance systems.Sound problem solving with a drive to get to the heart of the problem.A passion for building rapport and relationships across multiple stakeholders.If you have the knowledge and experience we are looking for, please apply with your CV and cover letter.For more information or a copy of the position description,please contact: Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
