A vacancy has arisen, working 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day Monday to Friday, for a Finance and Services Support Officer to work in a high performing Finance and Services Support team with a focus on the Accounts Payable and Resident Trust Accounting portfolios and workflows.
About the Role Based at our centrally located Support Services Office, reporting to the General Manager Finance and Services Support, but with day-to-day work supervision by the Accountant, you will also have strong functional relationships with operational service budget holders and administration teams within the organisation.
Your daily tasks will include: Managing the processing and payment preparation of supplier invoices, including reconciling supplier statement balances and transactions with supplier balances in the accounting system.
Processing month-end accounts payable close, including credit card spend and assisting with transaction reports and accruals.
Processing the reimbursement of petty cash, staff expense claims, and other service expenses.
Processing, reconciling, and reporting resident comfort and care transactions on behalf of residents in the accounting system and using Excel.
Resolving supplier and operation queries.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Prior experience in an Accounts Payable or similar Office role.
Experience with using a mid-level Accounting System such as Attaché.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially use of Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with both internal customers and external parties.
Ability and proven experience in meeting business cycle deadlines.
