About the role Viterra is seeking a full-time accounts and finance administrator within the maize drying and storage facilities section of our business. The primary focus of the role is to be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and account management activities of the TAG Maize Drying and storage facilities and to provide support to the Auckland office as required. The role is to be performed in accordance with the highest possible levels of business ethics, integrity, and confidentiality, while meeting the statutory and legal compliance requirements of the company.
Duties may include but are not limited to: Month-end closing and preparation of profit and loss and balance sheet reportsConducting cost and profitability analysisGeneral ledger analysis and reconciliationsInventory costingAccounts payable/Accounts receivableGeneral administrative supportAbout you Degree in Business and/or experience in financial reporting including G/L reconciliations.Sound accounting skill set including general accounting tasks and AP/AR.Experience working within the agricultural industry in New Zealand would be preferred.Knowledge of relevant commoditiesStrong business acumenThorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and proactiveAbility to work as a member of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHow to apply To apply or to see a detailed position description, please visit the careers page of our website viterra.com.au, or for further information please contact HR and Compliance Manager, Rachael Walker on +61 8 8304 5172.
