About the role:
Join Ventia as our Finance Analyst Digital Services. In this position, you will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis of IT expenses, and operational costs.
Your expertise in commercial and financial management combined with a deep understanding of the IT Operations will enable you to optimise resource allocation, drive cost efficiencies across the business, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing:
Facilitate strong business relationships with Digital Services, Procurement, and Finance teams, fostering collaboration and understanding of financial requirements to create financial dashboards to support their needs.
Collaborate with the IT leadership and Group Finance to develop, implement, and manage IT budgets, ensuring alignment with overall organisational objectives. Monitor variances, identify potential risks, and propose appropriate cost-saving measures.
Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insights into IT spending, trends, cost drivers, and performance metrics. Create consistent reports, dashboards, and presentations to CIO IT leadership to support informed decision-making.
Monitor and track IT expenses and operational costs (OPEX). Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and month-end reporting, provide quality insight into factors influencing performance (actual vs budget/forecast), maintain compliance with accounting standards and organisational guidelines.
Assist in the development of a technology business management framework to help drive cost and value transparency to the business, including attribution of IT costs into cost pools, IT towers, and service delivery to all stakeholders.
Provide analysis and insights into performance, including benchmarking and comparisons to drive continual improvement, identifying areas for further cost savings and efficiency improvements. Implement Power BI reporting where identified.
About you:
Knowledge and experience in understanding financial governance models and the delivery of reporting for IT Digital Services and Finance Leadership team.
Excellent financial planning and analysis knowledge able to recommend commercially astute decision-based insights.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to present and influence senior stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with understanding of key business drivers - understanding of how product usage impacts the underlying performance of the business.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
SAP experience would be held in high regard.
