Farm Assistant (Hinds Area)

We are looking for a farm assistant to join our team in the Hinds area. 1-2 years experience required.
We provide on-farm training as well as off-farm training. We run a roster of 8-2, 8-3 meaning every 3rd weekend is a 3-day weekend. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week.
Our farming system is 100% pasture-based/low input system. Dairy Holdings farm provides excellent progression opportunities for the right person.
Duties include but are not limited to: Milking
Animal health
Dairy shed hygiene
Shifting KLine irrigation
Break fences
Weed control
General farm duties
Repair & Maintenance (R&M)
Health & Safety training provided and a strong H&S system.
A pre-employment drug test is required.
Must be a resident, NZ citizen, or on an open visa.
SALARY PACKAGE: $65,000 to $70,000 depending on level of experience.
