This exciting role will see you engage with children and their families and work with them towards achieving positive and lasting differences in their lives. This role is 30 hours per week.Minimum RequirementsA qualified Social Worker or CounsellorRegistered with the SWRB or NZACFamiliar with strength-based practice principlesCompetent in working with families affected by multiple issues including domestic violence and child abuseAble to engage with families where signs of safety are an issueA person who thrives in a busy multi-disciplinary teamShow exemplary professional practiceHave experience in, and can evidence effectively, working with Maori familiesHave outstanding communication and people skillsHave excellent family support, assessment and counselling abilities.We are committed to creating a diverse workplace where you can look forward to feeling included and valued for your contribution.
