The Salvation Army Bridge exists to provide safe, integrated, high quality treatment and support services to people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or substance use. Our services are evidenced based best practise and are known for being people-centred, caring, transformative and responsive.We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified Whanau ClinicianKey Responsibilities: Improving relationships between the client and other in the family/whanau.Reduction in family experiences of strain.Enhanced family copying behaviours which led to improved physical and psychological health.Person Specification: Tertiary Alcohol and Drug qualifications or qualifications in a closely related field such as social work, psychology, nursing.DAPAANZ professional registration, an equivalent health registration.Experience working with whanau.Experience in carrying clinical workloads.An awareness of the requirements of the treaty of Waitangi and be willing to work from a bi-cultural perspective.Ability to work with people from other diverse backgrounds and cultures.Ability to work within a team environment and also independently when requiredOur offer to you: 2 x Salvation Army additional leave days and long service leave Discounted Medical Insurance with Southern Cross Access to free confidential counselling sessions for your wellbeingTSA discount card for discount with various retailers such as Beaurepaires, Noel Leeming, Placemakers and Torpedo7 Free confidential counselling services to support your wellbeingSubsidised flu vaccinationsA position within a long-standing, respected nationwide organisation Opportunities for growth and development Hours of work: This is a permanent full time role of 40 hours per week however part time hours may be considered for the right candidate.The starting salaryfor this role falls between $75,000 - $85,000 annually dependent on experience.This role may close early due to an increased number of applications - apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment! The Salvation Army is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and believes workplaces thrive with diversity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
