We help adult and child victims become safe and stay safe, raise awareness and recognition of family harm.Working from our central Auckland office, our refuges and in the community; on a day to day basis you will work with clients to ensure that they can achieve and maintain safety. This includes that they have access to the basic needs for family, community & cultural support, financial & housing stability, food, learning & employment; and access to equitable & responsive services.Nga pukenga kei a koe I Your Skills and ExperienceYou are a qualified, registered and experienced Social Worker or Counsellor with proven experience in the family violence sector (5 years+). In addition, you have:A comprehensive understanding of the causes and dynamics of intimate partner violenceKnowledge of local social systems and community resourcesCommitment to developing and maintaining strong networks in the communityExcellent time-management skills and ability to manage competing demandsResilience, tenacity and determinationDigital literacy, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelAble to contribute to an on call roster and work outside of hours from time to time (which will be compensated accordingly)Nga ahuatanga hirahira o te mahi nei I Highlights of Working with UsYou can look forward to joining a team where you will make a meaningful difference on a day to day basis, and being valued for your contribution.
