We are looking for a committed Factory Planning Manager to play a lead role between the Auckland factory and NZ Supply Chain to ensure that service level targets are met for finished goods manufactured in the Auckland factory. This role leads a team to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory and driving efficiency across our production.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Leading a team of Planners and a Warehouse Supervisor to achieve the team's KPIsMaintain robust inventory control and accuracy through warehousing principles and oversee the creation and implementation of production plans aligned to customer requirements and operational efficienciesOptimising the use of raw materials and packaging for our production whilst balancing customer requirementsChampion S&OP process for the manufacturing site and be the key link into the wider business (mainly Supply Chain and Sales)Building strong, productive relationships with a wide network, including both internal and external stakeholdersChampion positive health & safety and food safety & quality culture, ensuring that we are meeting our compliance requirements and building H&S and FSQ capabilityEnsuring third party service providers maintain service levels whilst building a sustainable relationshipThis is an exciting permanent opportunity where you can drive results and make a real change, based in our East Tamaki based manufacturing site.
QualificationsFor our Factory Planning Manager, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
5+ years leading a planning team within an FMCG environmentExperience with implementing H&S practicesProven success leading and unifying teamsDemonstrated experience managing complex stakeholder networks, including external service providersYou have a strong bias for action and a track record of achieving large goalsYou have a valid NZ work visaAdditional InformationWhat's in it for you?
