Facility Support Coordinator - West Wave Pool and Leisure Centre Here at Auckland Council Pools and Leisure Centre, our vision is for Auckland to be the most active city in the world, and our Leisure Centres play a fundamental part in helping us achieve this.
As a Facility Support Coordinator at West Wave Pool and Leisure Centre, you will focus on supporting our centre in day-to-day operations.
You will deal effectively with the escalation of customer enquiries, facility bookings, event coordination, general administration, and collaborating with existing and new community groups and organisations.
He korero mou: About you As part of supporting Auckland's largest leisure centre, you will be a team player who is adaptable, engaging, and ready to own this unique role.
You will have a passion for working with people from all walks of life and a creative mind coupled with a can-do attitude.
Your personal commitment to providing high-quality customer service, along with your great attention to detail, will make you an ideal candidate. Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task are essential.
You will have experience booking and coordinating events, communicating across different teams, and managing client and customer relationships.
We currently have a full-time role working 40 hours, Tuesday to Saturday. The ability to work flexible hours, including late nights, early mornings, and weekends, is essential.

Pay rate: Starting $52,920 Auckland Council is committed to the protection and wellbeing of children. This role is classified as a Children's Worker role under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014 and is deemed a safety-sensitive position.
As such, applicants will be required to undergo police vetting and a drug test prior to commencing employment.
