Facility / Care Home Manager

They operate a number of facilities throughout New Zealand providing high quality care service and quality of life for their residents.

As the Business and Care Manager you will be responsible for:

Driving Financial Performance including budgets

Facility and Household Management

Taking ownership of the business

Achieving Financial Performance Targets

Developing Business Plans

Conducting Audits – Internal and External

Management of Service delivery

Occupancy Management

Maintaining regular contacts with DHB's Assessors and Families

Continuous Quality Improvement

Risk Management

Health and Safety

This is an interesting and diverse role that requires good business acumen, the ability to make sound business judgments, and deliver the desired results.

This position is a Senior Management role, so the ideal candidate must be able to support and implement changes and have a broad knowledge of all operational activities.

Your recent management experience in Aged Care at a Senior Management level, with a strong business background and demonstrated leadership in managing staff groups and major projects, is an advantage.

To make an easy transition into the team, you must be a good communicator, have excellent computer skills, and be an excellent people manager.
