OCHT is responsible for tenancy and property management and manages residential facilities providing tenancy management, property assets, and builds new community housing to meet housing demand.This is a busy role where you will work closely with the Facilities Manager to maximise repair turnaround times so that homes are available to rent to those in need of community and affordable rentals.This role is an opportunity to apply your hands-on skills and broad knowledge of repair strategies that will make the best use of our valuable facilities budget.Your success as the Facilities Vacant Lead will be measured by:Scoping/managing Vacants, coordinating and focusing a team on this deliverableEffective processing and turnaround of vacant properties within agreed budgetsTime, quality, and cost are considered equally, having regard for safe, environmental processesCollaboration with the Tenancy Operations Team to ensure priority Vacants are expedited through the vacant process without compromising qualityExperience and qualifications requirements:Minimum five years on-the-job experience in a residential maintenance / building project rolePrevious construction experience or a related trade qualificationExperience managing facilities works budgetsExcellent communication skills across cross-functional teamsExcellent understanding of obligations under the HSWA 2015 and applied knowledge
