Southern Cross Healthcare is seeking a Facilities Manager to join their team in Auckland, New Zealand. The Brightside Hospital team is looking for a self-motivated Facilities Manager responsible for the day-to-day building management of the hospital. The candidate must have the ability to work with the team in the national support office for capital requirements, requests, and delivery of upgrades or replacements. It is essential to provide a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors. For this position, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience in facilities management. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $115,000 per year.

Responsibilities for Facilities Manager: Oversee all proactive and reactive repairs within the maintenance department. Manage all contractor maintenance programmes, including management, delivery, performance, compliance, and budgeting for all building-related services. Ensure building compliance with local authority regulations in New Zealand. Demonstrate the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Provide quality care to the patients within the hospital. Qualifications for Facilities Manager: Minimum of 5 years experience in facilities management. Experience with building management systems (BMS). Bachelor's degree in facilities management or business administration. Ability to triage building-related issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with patients and their families. Familiarity with building compliance and local authority regulations.
