Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and organised Facilities Coordinator to join our team at our Glenbrook facility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across all areas, managing and replenishing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and addressing any ad hoc tasks required to keep the site running efficiently.
By supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining a productive and safe working environment at the Glenbrook hub.
Key Responsibilities Ensure all areas within the facility, including kitchens, break rooms, offices, bathrooms, Portacom's, and other common areas, are kept clean, organised, and hygienic at all times.
Regularly monitor and replenish consumables such as tea, coffee, milk, cleaning supplies, and other necessities to ensure they are always available for employee use.
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as wiping down surfaces, emptying trash bins, and vacuuming.
Regularly monitor and replenish consumables in terms of PPE.
Coordinate PPE and maintain accurate data records.
Provide additional support during planned plant shutdowns, including the coordination and management of cleaning and maintenance tasks in the NZ Steel plants.
Hold and maintain a current NZ driver's licence: Class/Endorsements 1.
Experience in Facility Cleaning preferred, but not required.
