Ready to make an impact? We're looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to manage the company's assets, services and provide effective contractor management in line with company policies and procedures, while supporting the needs of the operation and business.
You'll be joining our fun and supportive site leadership team based at Wiri close to the motorway which makes it easy for you to commute.
About the Role | Mo te Turanga This role will ensure the provision of effective maintenance support to the DCs, delivering a maintenance capability responsive to the scheduled and unscheduled service and repair needs.
The Facilities & Maintenance Manager will:
Compile and maintain records for all building, equipment and plant activities
Manage maintenance contractors by acting as a point of contact, particularly regarding costs and standards of work
Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance operations through input into new plant/ equipment purchase proposals or building modifications
Build and promote a team environment focused on working collaboratively to achieve team and DC objectives
Lead site asset and equipment safety inline with safety in design and manufacturers' requirements.
Ensure a preventative maintenance schedule is implemented and maintained for all assets on site.
Manage and report on repairs and maintenance against budget and forecast.
Manage and report on equipment/plant availability against minimum targets.
Manage end-to-end contractor delivery of site security, cafeteria, cleaning, waste management to established standards.
Assist in the design of network reviews and implementation.
You'll bring in your leadership capabilities to lead, motivate and engage team members through the use of effective people management processes and practices, building their capability to achieve individual, team and overall Distribution Center (DC) business objectives.
To succeed in this role you will bring in:
Facilities Management, Engineering Management or Trade Background. Industrial property experience.
Experience in Safety and Risk management.
Supply Chain operations experience. (preferable)
Leading capabilities to implement change.
Experience in moving plant and equipment.
Stakeholder engagement and management skills.
