We process over 700 million litres of milk a year and produce a wide range of dairy ingredients and products.We're looking for an experienced Facilities and Compliance Coordinator to join our team based at our Hokitika site reporting directly to the Facilities and Compliance Manager.
This role is primarily responsible for leading the coordination and management of the Building Warrant Of Fitness (BWOF) procedures and to support Facilities and Compliance for both our Hokitika and Rolleston Sites.You Will Also Be Responsible For:Coordination and improvement work around facilities and infrastructureAssisting in the development and implementation of Westland's Long Term Maintenance PlanSupervising contractors working on the Hokitika Site to support Facilities and Compliance worksProviding support to the maintenance and services teams with the Permit to Work proceduresSolution orientated continuous improvements to building infrastructuresCreation and amendments to procedure manualsMinimum Qualifications:Prior BWOF or building compliance experience in a large industryA trade background in Facilities or Carpentry (preferred)Basic project management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to review work to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and meet deadlinesAbility to work cooperatively as part of a small team demonstrating energy, vision and initiativeProactive and able to identify issues relating to R&M and site services that need resolutionAbility to manage time and prioritise and organise workloadGood timekeeping, efficient work habits and good communication skillsFull NZ drivers licenceAn understanding of food hygiene requirements/related work environments would also be beneficialIf you are process and system focused, understand building WOF requirements and Health & Safety needs, then we want to talk to you.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known company who takes pride and passion in everything they do, so come join us!
