External Auditor

Opportunity to work for a reputed firm. Our client is seeking an Auditor to join their team.   The Role As part of the team, you will work alongside a team of professionals getting exposure to a diverse range of clients. You will be tasked with a range of audits and ad hoc work as required. Note that this is a permanent role, with 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Working directly with clients, understanding clients' needsChecking compliance with policies and proceduresTesting internal controls and substantiating financial information. Ensuring budgets are met on the audit undertaken and provide explanations for variances      What You Will Need To be successful in this role, you will also have the following experience and qualifications: A minimum of 2 years' experience in External Audit and be currently be working in External Audit in a reputable and/or internationally recognised accounting practiceExperience with an audit methodology that complies with International Auditing StandardsA Bachelor's degreeIn addition, you will possess: Strong communication skillsAn open and approachable attitudeA great work ethicTo apply you must be a New Zealand resident or citizen and be currently residing in New Zealand.
