About the Company RD8 Fresh Produce Group Ltd is a privately owned company focussed on the production of the finest locally grown produce to supply markets locally and around the world. The role This role is a fixed term full time role for 7 months from February to August 2024 to cover the busy apple export season. Working in a central city location Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, with the option to come back next season. This is an exciting and fast paced role within an organisation that is experiencing considerable growth. We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated document person to support the busy export team. The purpose of this position is to process export documentation required for export apple shipments to customers globally ensuring all the relevant documentation is completed and despatched within deadline-sensitive timeframes. Reporting to the GM for Sales you will be responsible for the processing and completing of all shipping and  export documentation required for perishable sea freight shipments in a timely manner, meeting market specific requirements while also responding to customer's individual documentation needs. This includes: SLI/CEDO'sPhytosanitary certificatesCertificates of OriginOrganic certificationand moreOur ideal candidate will have the following: Experience in processing documents for perishable goods. Specific apple experience would be a distinct advantageExperience with organic certification requirements would be an advantage but full training will be provided.High level of attention to detail and accuracy with excellent time management and organisational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.Ability to build and maintain a strong working relationship with the internal sales and accounts team as well as external supplier packhouses, shipping lines, international customers, MPI and couriers.Be self-motivated who can work with minimal supervision.Team player with a can-do attitude.Proficient computer skills – and ability to learn our own internal documentation systemHaving your own Customs pin would also be an advantage.
