This position is full-time permanent, and the successful candidate will be based from our Vulcan Profiles site in Hornby, Christchurch.
This role will suit a hands-on person who has a problem-solving mindset and good attention to detail. You will enjoy working with equipment/machinery and possess good mathematical ability. You will be responsible for programming and setting up the machine, monitoring the workflow, and identifying and reporting any issues. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience on a Press Brake Machine in a manufacturing capacity is required for this role.

You will need to be: ReliableHave a minimum of 2 years experience on a Press Brake machine in a manufacturing/production environment folding Mild SteelAble to work overtime when required (plenty of overtime available)Available for night shift 4:15 PM - 2:45 AM Mon - Thu (4 x 10 hour days)Possess a full class 1 licence and have transport to and from workOpen to a competitive hourly rate depending on experienceWilling to accept time and a half for any overtime hours above 40 hoursEligible as we are an Accredited Company that can accept people on AEWVRole is available for an immediate start, and as part of the recruitment process, we will conduct a pre-employment drug screen.
