About the role | Ko te mahi nei
Your work will be varied and challenging, and you'll gain exposure to a large variety of consent and development types, including complex land-use and subdivisions, from rural activities on Banks Peninsula to landmark buildings within Central Christchurch. You'll be project-managing your work with the ability to see a consent through from start to finish, including pre-app advice, hearings and court experience. You'll provide expert planning advice to our customers, both external and internal, and liaise with other Council experts. You will also act as a mentor to less experienced planners.
Ideally you'll have 1 - 5 years experience; however, no matter the level you're interested in, as long as you bring the relevant qualifications and the positive customer-focused can-do attitude we need, you'll fit right in! Read the position descriptions for more information on the requirements of each level.
