Diagnosis and rectification of vehicle faults.
Provision of vehicle preventative maintenance services.
The fabrication of parts where required or the ordering of parts from preferred suppliers.
Installation of the replacement parts and reassembly of vehicle to the required standards.
Management of time in an efficient manner to ensure it is spent working on customer vehicles and with minimal un-chargable time.
Ensure activities comply with Acts and Regulations together with adherence to franchise policies, procedures and values.
SKILLS, CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
TECHNICAL
Practical knowledge of motor vehicles and parts for removal and reassembly.
Strong ability of fault finding and diagnosis .
Able to identify solutions to remedy faults.
parts fabrication and welding skills.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Ability to work autonomously & be self-motivated.
Creative, resourceful, and meticulous.
QUALIFIFICATIONS
A relevant technical qualification in automotive engineering is desired but not essential.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in an automotive retail repair environment.
WOF authority would be advantageous but not essential.
