Requirements
Our ideal candidate has a welcoming smile and the ability to empathize with patients, offering a warm and friendly atmosphere where the patients feel relaxed and properly cared for.
You will need to be well versed with using EXACT and possess at least intermediate computer literacy skills.
Confident in communicating in a friendly yet professional manner with people of all ages & ethnic backgrounds.
Ability to assist in all dental procedures, sterilization, record keeping, stock, and maintaining surgery cleanliness.
Be versatile, proactive, and well presented.
What a normal work day would look like:
Open the practice, set up the surgery, and turn on all required equipment.
Double check the clinic is tidy and presentable.
Manage reception, greet patients as they head in, and make them feel welcome.
Assist the Dentist, sterilize equipment, update patient files, and record all required data for compliance.
After surgery, take payments, rebook as required, and prepare for the next patient.
Between patients, call and confirm the next day's bookings, check up on recent patients, and call patients who have not responded from the recent recall list.
Assist with and complete all closing tasks for the day.
Have laughs and banter with the team and enjoy some great coffee!
Salary & Perks
$26 to $32 per hour based on experience.
Weekly fuel allowance.
Subsidized dental care for you & your family after completion of 6 months employment.
Central location with everything from restaurants to a variety of retail shops within walking range.
Paid day off on your birthday after completion of 1 year.
While this is a part-time role at the moment, there is scope for it to be full-time in the near future for the right candidate if they require.
