You must have/be: At least 3 years' experience in a commercial kitchen or a relevant diplomaExcellent leadership, communication and people skillsAbility to prioritise, multitask, show initiative and work well under pressureExperience dealing with suppliers and the ordering processesHonest, dependable, diligent, flexible, reliable and enthusiasticMoeraki Boulders Cafe is a fast-paced venue open 7 days serving breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea…catering for both tourists and locals, feasting on our famous blue cod, seafood chowder and risotto and our popular cabinet food
Duties include preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a high quality
Assisting with planning new dishes for the menu.Being part of the day-to-day operations of the kitchenFollowing food hygiene and health and safety measuresEnsuring the kitchen runs efficiently. Your hours and days of work will vary, but we can guarantee you at least 30 hours of work per week.
