About the role: We are looking for a Chef de partie to join our vibrant team.
We run three stalls in the beautiful Riverside Market.
We have positions for an experienced chef in all three stalls.
Role type: Permanent full-time  Hours: 30 hours minimum  We are currently only seeking candidates who possess full working rights within New Zealand .
Cluck Cluck Slurp: On one side you'll find Cluck Cluck, a rotisserie dedicated to serving up fresh chicken and pork as well as fresh salads and sandwiches prepared with local produce from Riverside's very own market vendors.
Slurp is our conjoint Japanese-style ramen shop, where slow-cooked pork and chicken bones form the base for deliciously rich and full-bodied broths.
Each dish is topped with a colorful assortment of vegetables, and a perfectly marinated soft-boiled egg.
The signature Tonkotsu ramen is a fan favourite, but with a range of vegan and vegetarian options, there's a bowl to suit all dietary requirements and lifestyles.
Corner Grill:  Experience an open kitchen where you will work your magic over breakfast or lunch.
Customers pick a dish from our menu, or their favourite cuts from our butchery cabinet.
We cook everything exactly how they like it, right in front of the customers!

Roti Joe's: Our latest venture!
Roti Joe's specialises in Hawker rolls (comes in a variety of mouth watering choices such as roasted hoisin duck, sticky roast pork belly, Korean beef and more!)
and Rice bowls, inspired by the sensational flavors and aromas of Asian cuisine.
We also have street food inspired entrees and salad bowls, never a boring day with such a dynamic menu and fantastic location!
Job Responsibilities: Prepare, craft and execute our diverse menu with skill, distinction and passion.
Engage and converse with our customers!
You will be working in an open kitchen/stall environment, having an outgoing and engaging personality would be a huge plusThere will be quite a bit of interaction between you and the customers, therefore we are looking for someone who possess a high level of presentation and self maintenance.Supervising kitchen operations with a focus on: Maintaining a seamless workflow, an energetic and collaborative work culture.Lead and partake in collaborative efforts to craft enticing menus that cater to a diverse array of tastes and dietary preferences.Guiding, overseeing, and nurturing kitchen staff to maintain the utmost standards in culinary expertise and presentation finesse.Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards in all kitchen activities.Overseeing and upholding the functionality of kitchen equipment, taking proactive measures to initiate repairs or replacements as needed.Constantly embarking on culinary adventures to discover novel cooking techniques, embrace emerging trends, and experiment with vibrant ingredients, all aimed at elevating our creations to new heights.
Requirements 2+ years of proven experience as a Chef A deep passion for culinary arts and a keen understanding of various cooking techniques.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide the kitchen team.Great communication skills with proficient EnglishCreativity and the ability to conceptualise and execute new and exciting dishes.In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment.Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Perks and Benefits: Work in an inclusive and vibrant team!Located in Riverside Market-  a 7-day indoor farmers' market selling local produce, meat, seafood, baked goods, coffee and moreCraft and execute using diverse, top quality and fresh ingredientsOpportunities for professional growth and advancement, chance to take enhanced responsibilities.
