We are seeking Experienced Beekeepers to join our Greenvale team (full-time, all year round, permanent positions). Working outside for most of the year, these positions are suited to hardworking, physically fit individuals who enjoy working as part of a team. Applicants should have a minimum of three – five years beekeeping experience in a commercial beekeeping enterprise preferably within NZ and be able to demonstrate an understanding of how to maintain good bee health and best practice hive management. Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years beekeeping experience working in a commercial Apiary Have completed an AFB recognition course Have a passion for beekeeping and a commitment to learn the Arataki Honey principles of beekeeping. A full Class 1 driver's license is required. Class 2, Osh Forklift, or F endorsement is very beneficial but not essential. Reliable team player with a good work ethic. Physically fit and healthy, some heavy work involved Preference will be given to candidates with New Zealand Residency or a valid Work Visa with NZ beekeeping experience, though all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. Some evening, night or weekend work required at times. The primary role will be working in the field but there will also be shed work involved, particularly over the winter months.
