Experienced Architect/Designer

We are excited to have established a permanent studio in Aotearoa. We are currently looking for experienced architects/designers to join our team and be an integral part of growing our newly established studio in Auckland.
If you currently live in Tamaki Makaurau, are someone who can confidently operate in the industry, are familiar with the local building regulations and codes, able to work autonomously within a small team and are looking to enrich your career journey within a growing professional environment, then we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for someone who can:
Operate confidently at a senior levelDemonstrate excellent leadership and advocacy for business growthProactively undertake business development for the studioBuild and maintain strong client relationships in the local industryUtilise strong technical skills and local industry knowledgeWork collaboratively with a small team providing leadership and mentoringProvide strong design skills and technical capabilities to studio projectsManage proposals/tenders for new work and attend consultations/briefingsRepresent the interests of the studio at key stakeholder and client meetingsExperience, Qualifications, Skills:
Master's Degree in ArchitectureRegistration in New Zealand as an architect (preferred)A strong understanding of construction sector legislation, building codes, standards, systems and processes in Auckland and wider regionExperience working on medium and large commercial projectsExperience in business development for practice growthExtensive knowledge of all design stages & conceptsREVIT skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft OfficeYou are expected to be able to – Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with diverse range of peopleAssemble and deliver presentations to clients, stake holdersDrive submissions, tenders and business development opportunitiesLead, mentor, manage a small growing studio teamHow to apply If you think this sounds like you, we are keen to hear from you.
