Experience Designer – Digital Arts Network (DAN) AucklandHybrid | Full-TimeNote: This role is only open to residents of Aotearoa New Zealand with the right to work. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and lived experiences to join us.The OpportunityAs an Experience Designer at DAN, you'll be integral to creating visually stunning, user-centered experiences across multiple platforms. You'll collaborate closely with our cross-functional team to turn concepts into digital realities, ensuring every project delights users and delivers business value.What You'll Do:Craft exceptional, user-focused experiences across various platforms and devices.Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of your designs.Design and iterate: from wireframes to high-fidelity visuals, adapting based on feedback and data insights.Maintain consistency in design across all project stages, ensuring high-quality output.Champion user needs by conducting user testing and refining designs based on real-world insights.Work closely with diverse teams to elevate creative solutions and drive innovative ideas.What We're Looking For:Design Expertise: A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces.User-centered approach: You focus on the needs of real people and design solutions that make their experiences better.Proficiency in design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Principle are your bread and butter.Strong communication skills: You articulate design decisions effectively and work well across teams.Creative problem-solving: You combine creativity with analytical thinking to solve design challenges.Attention to detail: You're meticulous in delivering polished, high-quality work.Up-to-date with best practices: You stay ahead of UX trends and design guidelines.Bonus Points for:Understanding of motion design or animation.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other front-end technologies, including WordPress.Familiarity with usability testing methods to inform design decisions.Our Culture – The DAN WayAt DAN, we believe in collaboration, initiative, and responsibility.
