Executive Officer - Marlborough Chamber of Commerce Marlborough Chamber of Commerce – Blenheim, South Island For over 70 years, the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce has offered support and advice to businesses and organisations in the region. About the role In this role, you will have the ability to get alongside and build enduring relationships with Chamber member businesses, stakeholders and sponsors. Providing practical advice, connections or support for the challenges they face and ensuring the Value Proposition the Chamber offers is current and valued. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and implement effective business practices, including enhancing the culture and executing the strategic plan. Identify and secure growth opportunities for the Chamber by meeting member needs. Exhibit strong leadership and organisational skills, and able to manage complex situations at any level. Communicate effectively and gain the respect and trust of members, sponsors and the wider community. Demonstrate strong analytical skills which underpin your ability to think strategically. Hold and execute the plan for the marketing and communications portfolio, to engage with the member community and wider Marlborough business community. Responsible for the growth and financial performance of the Chamber. Responsible for the performance of the staff members.
