Executive Director - National Role

We are seeking an inspired individual who has the passion and desire to make a difference in the lives of our learners and be an advocate for EPIT.
Our new Executive Director will provide thoughtful and visionary executive leadership that is inclusive, transparent, and empowering in a manner that supports and delivers EPIT's vision. Through your proven, successful leadership, you will bring your knowledge, skills and experience accumulated throughout your career, with an ability to influence others to grow EPIT.
The role of Executive Director, reporting to the Board, is responsible for the leadership and overall operational management of the organisation, in line with the Board directed strategy.
The successful candidate for this role will have the following attributes:

Deep commitment to equity in education.
Proven strategic management level experience in a growth organisation, preferably experience in the non-profit sector.
Excellent relationship building skills
Commercial acumen and proven fundraising experience.
Strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Maori and Tikanga Maori practices and principles.
Proven success working alongside partners and communities including iwi.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
