We call this Smart Working!The OpportunityWe are looking for a highly motivated leader that has been working in the legal or broking industry with extensive experience in the mergers and acquisition process. Working as part of a high-performing team, you will be engaging at a senior level with clients, both private equity firms and corporate businesses. You'll be committed to providing the highest level of service and professionalism in this varied role, which will find you managing significant M&A projects, reading and checking sale and purchase agreements, negotiating policy terms, and producing reports.In return, you will be mentored by other senior leaders in Asia Pacific, the US, and UK who lead similar businesses and who will ensure you transition successfully into Aon and the insurance industry. The M&A Transactional Liability team pride themselves on being market-leaders, committed to providing a gold-class standard of service to its clients, and you will be utilising your experience and knowledge to lead and set the strategic direction of the division.ResponsibilitiesLeading clients through the process of transferring their transactional liability risk, managing relationships up to C-suite executives.Pro-actively establishing new relationships to develop income opportunities.Identifying and bringing online new projects within the current client portfolio.Building/maintaining a network of relationships within the insurance market.Liaising with underwriters and internal stakeholders to deliver optimised go-to-market strategies.Drafting, proof-reading, and producing high quality reports.Providing leadership and guidance to other members of the team.To be successful, you will demonstrate:Outstanding client management capabilities, which includes attracting, retaining, and growing clients.A keen entrepreneurial spirit and flare for business development.A law degree and legal background with a substantial focus on M&A.Experience with corporate taxation would be highly valued but is not required.Analytical abilities and experience drafting proposals and documentation.Highly self-motivated with the ability to take ownership and accountability for development and execution of projects and relationships.The capability and experience to provide leadership across the team's technical, relationship management, and business development skill-sets.About UsWe're a team of authentic and smart individuals passionate about providing outstanding value to our clients and our local communities.
