Te whiwhinga mahi The Opportunity The Executive Assistant role is to provide high quality, timely, executive support to the Chief of Assurance Audit & Risk through provision of advice, being a central point of contact for the team, and dealing appropriately with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
This is a permanent full time position, based in Auckland.
Mou About you You will be a skilled Executive Assistant with experience at this level in a large, complex organisation or government agency.
Your ability to bring your critical thinking and sound judgement to support your Tier 2 executive and their team will be key.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, will be critical to success in this vital role.
Nga pukenga me nga wheako Skills and experience An understanding of Maori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Advanced skills in the MS Office Suite with special emphasis on Outlook & Microsoft Teams.
Excellent organisational skills along with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities, and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
Be a team player with a great sense of humour and when required, trusted to manage issues of a sensitive nature confidentially.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels, including with senior officials and with health sector leaders.
Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.
