Job Description
You will have an important responsibility to continually assess and mitigate health-related event risk at pre-planned events, as well as provide event medical cover.
Provide effective patient care, ensuring patients are appropriately assessed and managed in line with the relevant Authority to Practice and Comprehensive Clinical Guidelines
Proactively identify risks/hazards whilst attending an event, and either acting on findings or escalating as appropriate to event organisers
Develop and maintain an effective relationship with event organisers, officials, and participants
Please note: This is a casual opportunity in the Te Waipounamu region. This region covers the entirety of the South Island.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current New Zealand Authority to Practice, minimum of First Responder qualification required.
Hold a current and clean NZ drivers licence
Physically fit and able to ensure excellent self-care
Ability to work weekends
