Our client is a well-established structural engineering firm and a respected player in the engineering industry, and are now seeking a dedicated Estimator to join their ranks as they support critical industry to thrive.

In this role, you'll not only manage cost estimation, pricing and project documentation, you'll also play a crucial part in the tendering process. Supporting sales, project management and quantity surveying in pulling together key information for tenders, you'll help write bids, and coordinate the essential documentation that ensures projects run smoothly, from start to finish.
The business focuses a lot of its efforts in the renewable energy sector and projects typically range anywhere from $10k to $2M, offering plenty of variety and opportunity for growth. We see this role focused primarily on the strategic projects from $500k-$2M on average.
Key Responsibilities: Estimating: Prepare accurate cost estimates for wide ranging engineering projects.Project Coordination: Manage key project documentation, contracts, and payments to support successful project delivery.Tendering and Bids: Assist in gathering information for tenders and help write compelling bids to win new workWhat You'll Bring: Proven experience in estimating and project coordinationAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings is preferredStrong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, payments, and project variationsExperience in tendering and writing bidsCommercial Acumen: Use your strong commercial skills to manage project budgets, variations, and paymentsStrong research and creative writing skillsExcellent communication skills with both internal teams and clientsStrong organisational skills and attention to detail to meticulously follow guidelines and requirements, ensuring that proposals meet specifications.What's in it for you?
