We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative individual to join our team as an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Analyst. In this crucial role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, empowering our Executive Leadership Team to make strategic, informed decisions that drive our success.You'll take charge of analysing and prioritising our EPMO portfolio, ensuring that every project aligns with our overarching goals. Your insights will be critical in assessing accumulated change impacts, helping us navigate complex decisions with clarity and precision.But that's not all – you'll also play a key role in supporting and coordinating EPMO activities across the entire project lifecycle. From governance and project delivery support to systems administration and report production, you'll be the go-to person for ensuring everything runs smoothly.As EPMO Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:Analyse and prioritise planned programs and projects to ensure they align with council capacity and strategic goals.Assess the Council's change environment, including potential impacts from planned initiatives, and evaluate current change capacity.Develop and implement processes for regular and exception reporting to provide timely, accurate information for decision-making.Collaborate with PMOs, Project Managers, and business units to improve data quality for accurate EPMO performance reporting.Maintain and manage the project community forum, sharing relevant updates and escalating issues as needed.Evaluate and support the implementation of EPMO methodologies, including change management processes.Provide support, mentoring, and training on EPMO activities and methodologies.Assist with internal training programs and create induction materials for new P3M team members, ensuring they are familiar with necessary tools.Manage and update EPMO forms, templates, and guides, ensuring they remain relevant and accessible. Act as the EPMO's administrative liaison with NCC departments and service providers.Support the EPMO Change Lead in collecting change metrics for planned initiatives.Develop a comprehensive view of change across the Council.About You:A relevant degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent skills and experience.4+ years of experience in project management, change management, data management, or portfolio management.Previous experience in an EPMO/PMO analyst role.Familiarity with project management tools, software, and methodologies.Financial skills, including understanding budget concepts and spending forecasts.Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills, especially in portfolio analysis.Excellent communication and facilitation skills.Please note this role will be based out of our Napier Office.We will be interviewing applications as we receive them and may close the role when we have found the right person.About Us:Join the dynamic team at Napier City Council, where we pride ourselves on excellence, integrity, and sustainability, while delivering exceptional customer and community service.
