About the Role
Burwood Hospital is a small friendly facility situated near Burwood Forest. Parking isn't a problem, and the new facilities provide excellent working conditions and a wide range of clinical environments.
We are looking for 1x Enrolled Nurse who will enjoy working as part of our Older Persons Health Service in Wards B1 and C2.
About the Team/Service/Location
C2 is a 24 bed (resourced to 20 beds) ward under the Older Persons Health umbrella. The ward provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients from other inpatient areas and the community. They provide healthcare for all gerontological rehabilitation needs post medical illness, surgical intervention, and those with complex social needs. Older Persons Health has a robust rehabilitation model that prioritises patient care. This focus on rehabilitation is essential for fostering recovery and enhancing the overall well-being of patients.
About you
If you are a motivated and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse with at least one year of post-graduate medical or surgical experience, we would love to hear from you.
Both roles are permanent part-time 0.6 FTE positions, based at Burwood Hospital.
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
Skills and Experience
A New Zealand registered Enrolled Nurse with a current practicing certificate.
Effective interpersonal skills and confidence and ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
Previous clinical experience working in a medical and/or surgical setting is preferred.
