You will be engineering and managing projects across the central north island manufacturing sites.You will also be responsible for successful project delivery, through the building of effective relationships and project teams. You will be facilitating change by applying a leading approach with good representation from stakeholders.This is a fantastic opportunity where you will get exposure to a range of engineering projects, leading initiatives that will significantly improve the sustainability, safety, quality, and reliability of assets within our operations. Your projects will be highly visible to senior leaders and make a real difference to the future performance and success of Fonterra.There is flexibility for the successful candidate to be based at one of our Waikato or Bay of Plenty sites.To be successful in this role, you will bring:An engineering or project management background within a high-quality team environment.The ability to deliver complex projects end-to-end.A proven ability to learn and adapt to a varying workload.Excellent prioritisation and decision-making skills.Reliability and approachability to identify and provide solutions to keep jobs moving forward.A degree in Process, Mechanical or Chemical engineering is preferable alongside familiarity with project management tools and techniques. Project management certification such as PMP, Prince 2 or CAPM would be helpful.Our people and what they bring to our Co-op shape our success.
