This role is responsible for managing a team of engineers to provide engineering technical expertise and quality assurance across QLDC's Property & Infrastructure capital works programme. This includes Transport, Three Waters, Solid Waste and Property.Your Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role you will be an experienced manager with a number of years in a senior engineering leadership role.You will have broad sector experience in infrastructure engineering design review and delivery and be able to demonstrate strong technical competency and confidence in decision making. You will have a relevant engineering qualification and practical experience in risk management and in infrastructure planning, design, and construction.You will have knowledge of and focus on best practice of H&S standards in the construction industry. Additionally, you will have well developed negotiation and commercial skills, with the ability to develop positive relationships, and be customer focused.
