Engineering Assistant

We have a vacancy for an engineering assistant to join our engineering team based at Te Matai quarry in Palmerston North, working with our site engineers and learning engineering skills.
It is envisaged that this position will lead to an engineering apprenticeship here at Hirock.
Requirements:Has a keen interest in engineering and mechanical equipment.Is a quick learner and can retain knowledge.Prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.Can comply with PPE standards - overalls, hardhat, gloves, glasses, steel cap boots.Be physically able to work on quarry plants.Daily 6.30 a.m. start time.About you:Are safety conscious.Reliable and keen to learn.Have a good level of physical fitness.If you have the skills and experience and want to work for a dynamic company with a great culture, this is the job for you.
