Engineering Assistant
Hirock Ltd is an established company with quarries operating in Manawatu, Central Hawkes Bay and Tararua areas.
We have a vacancy for an engineering assistant to join our engineering team based at Te Matai quarry in Palmerston North, working with our site engineers, learning engineering skills etc.
It is envisaged that this position will lead to an engineering apprenticeship here at Hirock.
Requirements:
Has a keen interest in engineering and mechanical equipmentIs a quick learner and can retain knowledgePrepared to work outside in all weather conditionsCan comply with PPE standards - overalls, hardhat, gloves, glasses, steel cap boots.Be physically able to work on quarry plantsDaily 6.30 a.m. start time                              About you
