About the Role As an Enforcement Resolution Lead, you'll be at the forefront of managing complex regulatory enforcement issues. From representing regulatory decisions in court to advising on enforcement policy and process design, this role is perfect for a seasoned professional passionate about making a tangible difference in compliance and safety outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Investigate escalated challenges to enforcement decisions.
Support the review of severe non-compliance cases and initiate enforcement actions.
Represent regulatory decisions in court proceedings or prosecution activities, collaborating with internal and external legal counsel.
Coach and mentor resolution advisors to ensure they make timely, robust enforcement decisions.
Provide regulatory advice and insights to enhance enforcement policies and processes.
What You'll Bring Significant experience in a regulatory environment, including investigation and compliance activities.
Experience communicating regulatory information in court proceedings.
Experience in risk management, including the development and deployment of effective risk mitigations.
Experience in applying legislation, strategy and policy in a complex regulatory environment.
Demonstrated experience building relationships with a range of stakeholders (internal and external).
Excellent attention to detail with an ability to assess complex information.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write effectively and translate technical information.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and high resilience, particularly in working with members of the public.
Either holds Enforcement Officer Certification, or has sufficient regulatory experience to obtain certification.
Previous experience of local and/or central government is preferred.
