We currently have a full-time fixed term (40 hour per week) vacancy for an Employment Support Kaiarahi, to engage and support Rangatahi and Adults aged between 18 – 35 years, living in the Auckland Region and enrolled in the Thrive programme. The purpose of the Thrive programme is to support Maori to Thrive in the workplace by improving well-being through achieving sustainable employment and receiving post placement support. The successful applicant will empower whanau with the knowledge, skills, tools and confidence, or connection to become active participants in achieving their wellbeing and employment goals along with supporting rangatahi and youth in whanau educational development. The ideal candidate for this role will understand current models of Whanau Ora in New Zealand. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, coordinating resources, advocating for whanau, and tracking and reporting on key outcomes. Manurewa Marae is a kaupapa Maori provider in health, social services, and education. We deliver whanau centred services in Manurewa. Our vision is to improve the health and wellbeing of all who reside in South Auckland.
