This is a newly created role working for an inspirational and highly experienced leader who is looking to grow and develop an Employment Relations Specialist.This role offers interesting and varied work with a wide variety of complex ER issues including assisting with mediation, with support from external counsel when necessary.There is also the ability to partner on longer term projects such as policy reviews, running internal training for HR professionals and disciplinary process reviews.This role has the opportunity to get involved with unions, assisting in the collective bargaining and union engagement processes.Working closely with the Head of ER; together you will enhance the organisations offering, working proactively to provide good training and solutions to the business across employment matters. This is an opportunity to further develop your solid foundation in the Employment Relations space.We are looking for candidates with the ability to identify opportunities to improve the employer and union relationship, work on initiatives to raise the capability of managers, as well as act as a trusted advisor to the internal HR team.
