About the Role:We are currently seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a dynamic law firm and team in Auckland. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated legal professional who is passionate about employment law and advocating for fair workplace practices.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert legal advice to employers and employees on employment contracts, workplace policies, and employee rights;Represent clients in dispute resolution, including mediation and negotiations, as well as in the Employment Relations Authority or Employment Court;Draft and review legal documents, ensuring compliance with NZ law;Stay updated with changes in employment legislation to provide accurate and timely legal guidance;Advise businesses on compliance with health and safety laws, anti-discrimination regulations, and other relevant laws;Assist clients in managing workplace grievances, including bullying and harassment claims;Represent clients in legal proceedings when disputes cannot be resolved through negotiation;Help organisations develop and implement fair employment practices and policies.About You:Possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or an equivalent qualification.
