They work with people / tangata whai mahi who are facing personal or health challenges and help them to find and keep work.
You will work closely with people accessing community mental health and addictions support, social services, government agencies, training providers and employers.
So you'll be working with people and their whanau, who have a range of backgrounds, cultures and experiences.This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm based in Hamilton.About youYou'll have great people skills and be able to easily interact and engage with anyone.
Cultural competence is essential in this role, and we particularly encourage Maori and Pacific people to apply.You'll have:Experience building relationships and achieving resultsA love of being part of a team and the ability to confidently work independentlyThe ability to think quickly and problem-solve effectivelyExperience working in the social service, addiction, youth, mental health, disability, employment, career development or other sectors that focus on improving people's lives.
Lived experience is also valuedPreferably you hold the NZ L4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or a recognised equivalent.
