ABOUT THE ROLE
This role requires you to work with Ministry of Social Development clients to place them into employment or higher education. This will include ongoing in-work support. You will be competent in assisting clients with CVs and cover letters, interview skills, and working beside them to overcome barriers to employment and other related skills.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Effective communication, administration, and interpersonal skills including good computer literacy skills for record management.
Ability to network with local employers to build and maintain relationships and understand the local job market.
Excellent time management and able to prioritise workloads and meet targets on time.
Demonstrate knowledge of and commitment to tikanga Maori, te reo, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
A full pre-employment safety check and police vet in accordance with Vulnerable Children regulations and a current, full driver's licence are required for this role.
