We are looking for a full time Employment Consultant at In-Work NZ in our Hamilton Office.
As an Employment Consultant you will be part of delivering coaching/mentoring, training and creating opportunities for people by supporting them into employment and/or education.
We're open to hearing about your employment history and the strengths/skills that you can bring to our team and environment, whether your specialty is in recruitment, youth/community development, career development, relationship management and networking, training and development, or other transferable experience and expertise.
We have a fresh team and are experiencing exciting new growth, so are focused on finding a personality and skill-set that enhances our team and deliverables.
About you: Career development skills and the confidence to enthusiastically facilitate both group and individualised training modulesCoaching/mentoring competence, with the ability to build rapport, develop trust, and motivate individuals toward their goalsProven relationship management experience with the ability to connect to businesses, education/training providers, and community organisationsAn understanding of the practical and psychosocial support required to transition people into the workforcePrevious recruitment experience and employer links is highly desirable as well as a good understanding of the local labour market Highly self-motivated, proactive, and the ability to take ownership of one's role and KPI'sExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and computersA full clean driver licence, or the ability to quickly obtain one  Applicants must be able to pass Police vetting checks and have the right to work in New Zealand.
