We're on the hunt for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our dynamic and high performing New Zealand People & Culture team. This role is based in Auckland and is available on a fixed term 12-month contract. This is not your typical HR role – it's an opportunity for someone to make a significant positive impact on our culture and performance! A day in the life… Lead with Expertise: Manage and resolve employee issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and practices. Investigate with Precision: Conduct thorough investigations into workplace complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters, documenting findings and making recommendations. Collaborate and Partner: Work closely with P&C Partners and our NZ leaders to develop and implement strategies that promote a positive workplace culture. Coach and Mentor: Provide guidance and coaching to leaders and employees on people matters. Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate and address potential employee issues before they escalate, promoting a harmonious and inclusive work environment. About You: Depth of Experience: Proven track record in managing ER/IR matters across both corporate and manufacturing environments. Experience working with and re-negotiating collective agreements will also set you up for success. Investigative Prowess: Extensive experience in leading investigations with a meticulous and fair approach. Collaboration Guru: Excellent ability to work with diverse teams and foster strong working relationships. Problem Solver: Creative and proactive in identifying and resolving issues. Partnering Pro: Skilled in partnering with various stakeholders to drive positive outcomes. Coaching Champ: Passionate about coaching and developing others. Why Lion?
